The How, What, & Why
Problem: There is more to a flea and tick problem than just on the pet. Adult fleas feed on the pet and then their droppings (dried blood) feed their larvae that are on the floor indoors and on the ground outdoors. Once the larvae develop, they then pupate and wait in the pupal stage until they spring out of their pupal casing as they sense the CO2 and temperature of an animal nearby. Ticks are hatched from eggs that are typically outdoors and the first instar climbs to the tips of grass and hold their top claws in the air to catch a hold of any animal that is walking by them. It is important to note that wild animals and neighbors pets can also create on-going problems for fleas and ticks. If there are places where wild animals or pets are hiding or resting that your pet may enter, these areas must be treated to control the problem long term.
Solution: It is essential to target the stages of both fleas and ticks on the floors indoors and the ground outside. Wherever the pets rest outdoors should be treated. All the floors indoors need to be treated. For fleas the areas where the animals jump down on the floor (off of beds, couches, etc…) will shake off most of their eggs in that immediate area. This formula can treat all surfaces indoor as well as outdoor. It can even be applied directly to the pets safely and easily. It kills pests by contacting the pests.
