The How, What, & Why
Problem: Fleas and ticks need to feed on blood. Fleas get on our pets as adults and feed. It is their droppings (dried blood) that feed their larvae that are on the floor after hatching from eggs that were previously dropped to the floor. Ticks are hatched from eggs that are typically outdoors and the first instar climbs to the tips of grass and hold their top claws in the air to catch a hold of any animal that is walking by them. They then feed and develop from first instar to adults while remaining on the animal.
Solution: It is important to solve 2 problems on our pets: 1) kill the pests that are feeding on them, and 2) repel new pests from wanting to get on them. Our formula is designed to kill by contact and leave a residual repellency on the pet for a few days thereafter. This shampoo has added oatmeal to soothe and moisturize dry, itchy skin as well as relieve redness and irritation. The added oatmeal can also be ignored in your claims if you wish to market it merely as a flea and tick shampoo.
